Open Invoice Alert

This is an alert that shows once per session for users that currently have an unpaid invoice.

I worked with developers in IT to create a service which generates a list of customers that have an open invoice. I then consumed the JSON data via their API and wrote a script that checks it against the logged in user's customer ID, and shows the banner if they have an open invoice. The script was served through Adobe Target.
