Brand-Specific Product Recommendations

These product recommendation carousels are generated based on customer data for a highly personalized experience.

The purpose of this project was to get relevant products in front of authenticated customers in an ecommerce environment where brand mandated, brand recommended, and restricted products need to be taken into consideration on a per-customer level. This was accomplished in collaboration with members of the marketing, ecommerce, and IT teams to build a service which generates a list of recommended products per customer based on specific criteria and logic and outputs it to cloud-hosted JSON files.

My contributions included writing JavaScript to consume the JSON data, developing the template for the recommendation carousel, dynamically appending tracking code, and serving the script on specific site locations through Adobe Target.
